Detail Itineary

Day 01: We will fly for 30 minutes from Kathmandu to reach Lukla (2850m) and trek for 3 hours to reach Phakding (2650m)

We will start our journey to the Lukla which takes around 30-40 minutes of time by air. Lukla will be out most developed and first step towards the Khumbu/Everest region. Once you land on Lukla, your local guides and porter (only if you have booked from the beginning) will be there waiting for you welcome. You will have your breakfast/lunch in tea house lodge in Lukla as arranged by our guides. After having some rest we will start our journey towards Phakding village.

Phakding is a small village where there is a limited number of resources and lodges for the trekkers. The path leading to Phakding is troubled less, flat and easy as this is just the beginning of our journey. To reach Phakding it may take around 2-3 hours of walk. On the way, you will walk through numerous local Sherpa villages and their beautiful agriculture farms protect by stone walls. The sight of Yak will be common on this path as they are the means of transportation in Himalaya region. First, we will be following the trails of Dudh Koshi followed by the Thado Khola en-route to Phakding. You will see the very first view of Mt. Kusum Kangaru.

Day 02: We trek for 6 hours from Phakding to reach Namche Bazaar (3440m)

After a night at Phakding, we will start our journey towards Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is the most developed town filled with modern facilities in Everest region. We will be crossing the Dudh Koshi river multiple times by taking the help of high suspension bridges. The breathtaking view of Mt. Thamserku will be right in front of your eyes on this path. Once we pass the route of Benkar, Chumao and Monjo village we will be in front of the entrance gate to Everest National Park. Everest National Park has been actively working in protection and conservation of wildlife habitats and forest. In the entrance, your trekking permit will be check and only you can take your step further. Continuing our walk towards Namche Bazaar you will have your first view of Mt. Everest. Before reaching Namche bazaar we will have to walk through the jungle named Jorsale. You will be stunned by the view of snow capped mountains like Mt.Thameserku, Mt. Kusum Kangaru, Mt. Lhotse, Mt.Tawache etc. Namche Bazaar is the main trading center point in Everest region.

Day 03: We will visit Everest view point and Khumjung Village back to reach Namche Bazaar

Today we will spend our full day in Namche Bazaar to acclimatize our health with high altitude. Instead of sitting idle in your hotel room, you can have a chat with your guide to spend the day. We suggest you take a short trek to Everest View Point. From there, you can have the wonderful views of magnificent mountains like Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Thamserku, Kusum Kangaru & Amadablam. If still, you have got time left then you can pay your visit to local Sherpa museum where you can learn about the culture, traditions, rituals, and history of them. At the end of the day, your guide will be preparing you for the further journey with required knowledge and information.

Day 04: We trek from Namche Bazaar for 7 hours to reach Lukla (2850m)

After having a peaceful stay at Namche Bazaar, we will be making our way back to the Lukla. We will have our breakfast in the morning and then move quickly. The path is long which requires around 7-8 hours of a walk at a slow pace. We will be taking the same path as we used for moving forward. This is the last day you spend in mountains. So, this is the time to say goodbye to the mountains who welcomed you at the beginning of your journey. We continue our pace to reach Lukla. Once we reach Lukla, our guide will already manage the place for you to stay and air ticket back to the Kathmandu. Today will also be your last day with your porter and guides and for showing gratitude, you can offer them anything as you want
