Outline Itineary

Day 01: We will take an early morning flight to Lukla (35 mins) from Kathmandu and trek to Phakding (2610m) and walking (4-5 hrs).

Day 02: We trek for 7 hours from Phakding to reach Namche Bazaar (3440m)

Day 03: We trek for 6 hours from Namche Bazaar to reach Tengboche (3860m)

Day 04: We trek for 6 hours to visit Khumjung/ Khnde village then trek back to Namche Bazaar

Day 05: We trek for 4 hours from Namche Bazaar to reach Lukla (2840m)

Day 06: We will take flight back from Lukla to reach Kathmandu

Detail Itineary

Day 01: We will take an early morning flight to Lukla (35 mins) from Kathmandu and trek to Phakding (2610m) and walking (4-5 hrs).

After a car/taxi drive to the domestic airport in Kathmandu, you will board the plane for an insane 30-minute flight to Tenzing Hillary airport, Lukla. Try to Sit on the left-hand side of the plane for spectacular snow cap mountain views.

After a cup of tea at Lukla, about 3 hours walking brings you to Phakding village. It is small Sherpa village situated at the bottom of high green mountains and on the side, there is a beautiful Dhud Koshi river.


Day 02: We trek for 7 hours from Phakding to reach Namche Bazaar (3440m)

There is so much snow cap mountain around you already and the scenic walking through some Sherpa villages, suspension bridges and on your way to Namche, the last climb brings the welcome sights of Namche Bazar.


Day 03: We trek for 6 hours from Namche Bazaar to reach Tengboche (3860m)

You have to continue your walk to Tengboche and their beautiful and peaceful monastery .You can see some suspension bridge, pine forest, dry and dust up a hill and downhill after crossing the bridge at Funki though. Where you have to show your permit at army check port before you climb.

Tengboche is the largest Buddies monastery in Nepal occupying on a high mountain with views in all directions. If you are interested You can attend a monks prayer ceremony in the evening or morning.


Day 04: We trek for 6 hours to visit Khumjung/ Khnde village then trek back to Namche Bazaar

A lovely day of walking through pine forest, Sherpa farming, waterfalls, and rivers take you back to Namche Bazaar which is such a lovely nest of Everest region and it is also a trade center of the upper part of this region.


Day 05: We trek for 4 hours from Namche Bazaar to reach Lukla (2840m)

Retract back to Lukla after breakfast passing through Banker and Phakding and following the trail to Lukla. You spend your final night in the Everest region here. This is also a good time to give your gratitude to your porter and trekking crew for their wonderful support and to bid them farewell.

Day 06: We will take flight back from Lukla to reach Kathmandu
