How to arrange stays in tea houses at Poon Hill and Annapurna Base Camp?

We are going to do Poon Hill and Annapurna Base Camp trek starting from April 9th.

How to arrange stays in tea houses? I’m afraid, that because of high season, there could be no place to stay.

Any recommendations/contacts of tea houses for those locations:Ullery, Ghorepani, Tadapani, Chhomrong, Sinuwa, Dovan, Himalaya, Machhapuchhre BC, ABC (I’m thinking it would be great to stay there for one night, is there a place to stay?)We didn’t decided yet to hire porter or not, but what is regular price for a day in this trek? Where in Pokhara we could find jeep/bus to Nayapul or Ullery?

You really don’t need to book the tea houses for Poon Hill and ABC trek. The first hotel you stay in Ulleri you can ask for reference for the entire route.Spring is not that bad for crowd compared to Autumn.From.Pokhra take a taxi to Baglung Bus station,to take the bus to Naya Pul.Having a porter or not is entirely your choice.Normally you can get a porter for US $ 15 to 20,and he can carry around15 Kg.They are very reliable.

We have taken Taxi from Pokhara to Nayapul – 3000. Don’t book any thing and don’t be afraid. We did this trek in the end of Oct and it was said that it was really crowded (i didn’t have such feelings) and we found room to sleep each time without any problems. If you want i can find our teahouses but i believe that all of them have similar conditions

There are plenty of guesthouses all along the way, so you don’t need to book in advance at all. Especially if there are only two of you.

Get bus from Baglung bus park to Nayapul.
1000 rupees taxi from Lakeside.
First day Ulleri.
Ghorapani.
Poon Hill – Tadapani.
Chomrong ( from here you will have problems finding accommodation so you might be able to get the lodge owner here to book ahead for you )
Another way of assuring accommodation is to pre arrange with agency/guide in Pokhara.
When I was there in mid October I really struggled
