Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu - Our representative will pick you up from International Airport and transfer to Hotel

Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing

Day 03: We drive from Kathmandu to Shivalaya (1,838m)

Day 04: We trek from Shivalaya to Bhandar (2,180m)

Day 05: We trek from Bhandar to Namkheli (2,400m)

Day 06: We trek from Namkheli to Ngaur (3,419m)

Day 07: We trek from Ngaur to Pikey Base Camp (3,640m)

Day 08: Walk up Pikey Peak (4,065m) and then trek to Lamjura La (3,530m)

Day 09: We trek from Lamjura La to Junbesi (2,675m) and at afternoon, we will visit to Thuptenchholing Monastery

Day 10: We trek from Junbesi to Ringmo and onto Taksindu La (2,968m)

Day 11: We trek from Taksindu La to Phaplu (2,413m)

Day 12: We drive from Phaplu to Kathmandu

Detail Itineary

Day 1. Arrive Kathmandu

Our representative will pick you up from International Airport and transfer to Hotel

Day 2. Sightseeing day in Kathmandu.

Day 3. We drive from Kathmandu to Shivalaya (1,838m)

Today we have an early start leaving the Kathmandu Valley in a private vehicle. Soon we escape the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu for the countryside driving through fields of wheat and millet, we see the farms and villages of rural Nepal. The road follows the Sun Kosi river until our lunch place in Khadi Chur. After lunch we cross the river and zig zag up into the foothills. Looking out of the window we can see rural Nepal life slowly going about their daily chores. After arriving to the town of Jiri we have a further one hours drive to get to our destination at Shivalaya and where we check into a friendly Sherpa tea house lodge.

Day 4. We trek from Shivalaya to Bhandar (2,180m)

After 6-7 hours of trekking from Shivalaya, we will reach Bhandar

Day 5. We trek from Bhandar to Namkheli (2,400m)

Today is a challenging but rewarding day today as we start the ascent of Pikey Peak. Once we leave the village of Bhandar, we head off the main Jiri to Lukla trail and join the less trekked trail to Pikey Peak. It will take 6-7 hours to reach Namkheli.


Day 6. We trek from Namkheli to Ngaur (3,419m)

In the morning after two hours of walking up the stone steps, you reach the top of the ridge and see the wonderful prayer flags of Goli Gompa. When we arrive at Goli Gompa where we can visit one of the three monasteries and later relax with a cup of tea and enjoy the spectacular Himalaya views.

It will take 6 hours to reach Ngaur.


Day 7. We trek from Ngaur to Pikey Base Camp (3,640m)

Today we will reach Pikey Peak Base Camp. We leave Ngaur village in the pine forest, walking through rhododendron trees following a lovely stone trail. After an hour we will emerge from the forest a get a view of Pikey Peak Base Camp a few hours more up the trail. We will arrive for lunch and you get a view of Goli Gompa in the ridge below.

After lunch we will stretch our legs and walk a bit more by walking further up the trail to gain a bit more altitude and have a look at our trail for tomorrow. Just an hour up the trail we will see the Summit and pray flags of Pikey Peak Two as well as the spectacular view looking back down the valleys below. We will return to Pikey Peak Base Camp for a relaxing afternoon looking forward to our summit the next day.

Day 8. Trek up Pikey Peak (4,065m) and then trek to Lamjura La (3,530m)

We will trek to Pikey Peak and reach Lamjura La.

Day 9. We trek from Lamjura La to Junbesi (2,675m)

At afternoon, we will visit to Thuptenchholing Monastery

Day 10. We trek from Junbesi to Ringmo and onto Taksindu La (2,968m)

It will take 6 hours to reach Taksindu La to Ringmo.

Day 11. We trek from Taksindu La to Phaplu (2,413m)

We have to trek form 6-7 hours to reach Phaplu from Taksindu La.

Day 12. Phaplu to Kathmandu

We will drive from Phaplu to Kathmandu and it will take 9 hours to reach Kathmandu

Day 13. Final Departure

Transfer to Kathmandu airport for the flight back home.
