7 Days Trek in Nepal

Poon Hill Walkway is one of the most visited areas in the Annapurna foothills due to the ease of ascent of the route for novice hikers and well-managed facilities of eco-lodges for food, drink and accommodation. This short trip is also suitable for those who are short on time but dream of seeing the snow-capped peaks and still want to experience the real Himalayan culture. This is the only trekking test in the Annapurna region that can be done year-round except for the monsoon season from mid-June to mid-September. The walk to Ghorepani starts from Nayapul (1070m) to Ghorepani (2750m). Along the walking trail you will enjoy the fascinating traditional Gurung villages and their culture passing azaleas, magnolias, oak forests and breathing while admiring the view of Mount Fishtail, Annapurna South, Himchuli and beautiful mountain panorama from Poon Hills (3210m), including the whole of Dhulagiri. and the Annapurna range. The short Poon Hills hike is always loved by most of the easy hikers looking for a short walking break in Annapurna and enjoying the amazing panoramic views of the Himalayas (Annapurna and Dhaulagiri) even as the sun rises from Poon Hill. So this trek is ideal for hikers from children to the elderly and also as a place to connect the route across the pass confluence with any other Annapurna region. The best tea house accommodation and great food make your visit memorable. This is probably the best place to go to Poon Hill at the peak of 3210m to watch the sunrise. The pioneering Himalayan stop, Ghorepani, was also an overnight stop for local merchants who supplied food to remote parts of Mustang.
