Poon Hill is a hill station at 3210 meters above sea level overlooking the sunrise views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains, the 8th and 9th highest peaks in the world. This is one of the best vantage points in Nepal to get a close-up view of the Himalayas.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu - Our representative will pick you up from International Airport and transfer you to hotel
Day 02: We drive for 7 hours from Kathmandu to reach Pokhara
Day 03: We drive for 2 hours from Pokhara to reach Nayapul and trek 4 hours to reach Tikhedhunga
Day 04: We trek for 7 hours from Tikhedhunga to reach Ghorepani
Day 05: We will have a morning hike to reach Poon Hill and trek for 8 hours to reach Tadapani

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu - Our representative will pick you up from International Airport and transfer you to hotel
Day 02: We drive for 7 hours from Kathmandu to reach Pokhara
We will drive to Pokhara after an early breakfast. The journey takes 6-7 hours on a tourist bus. You will travel along beautiful green hills and rivers. Pokhara is a famous lake city. Phewa lake is the largest lake in Pokhara. We will be staying at the Phewa lakeside.
Day 03: We drive for 2 hours from Pokhara to reach Nayapul and trek 4 hours to reach Tikhedhunga
Our trek starts today. We will first drive to Nayapul – the place where our trek begins. It is a one and half hours of drive to Nayapul from Pokhara. The trek is gentle and flat for the first part. Once we reach a place called Birenthanti (1,080 m/3,543 ft), the trail starts to get uphill.
We meet typical Nepali villages on our way like – Matathanti, Ramgai, Sudame and Hile. We follow the Modi river which gets more turbulent as we move uphill. We reach Tikhedhunga for evening stay. It is a wonderful place to spend your evening, being far away from the noise and pollution of urban settlements.
Day 04: We trek for 7 hours from Tikhedhunga to reach Ghorepani
We will have an early breakfast and head for the village of Ghorepani. We will follow the Modi river for a while and then cross it through a high suspension bridge. An hour of trek from the bridge takes us to the beautiful Ulleri village (2,080 m/6,824 ft). The path from the bridge to Ulleri provides a wonderful view of Hiuchuli, Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) mountains.
Ulleri is a thickly populated village. The villagers provide accommodation for trekkers. We will not stay in Ulleri and continue our trek further. Banthanti (2,300 m/7,545 ft) and Nangethanti (2,450 m/8,038 ft) are other beautiful villages that lie on our road. We will walk through deep rhododendron forest in the last part of the day and reach Ghorepani.
Day 05: We will have a morning hike to reach Poon Hill and trek for 8 hours to reach Tadapani
Today we trek from Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3180m.) and then to Tadapani (2675m.). We cover the distance within five and half hours of normal trek. Early morning, we start our trip to Punhill (3180m.) to enjoy the sunrise view over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Varaha Shikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Annapurna III (7855m.), Machhapuchhre (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7937m.), Lamjung Himal (6931m.) and numerous other snowcapped mountain peaks. Having breakfast at Ghorepani, trek to Tadapani (2650 m.) through the deep forests of rhododendrons, bamboos and oaks. En route, one can observe waterfalls, rocks, wild animals, birds and green valleys. Overnight at Tadapani at tea house lodge.
Day 06: We trek for 7 hours from Tadapani to reach Ghandruk
Trek from Tadapani (2675m.) to Ghandruk (1950m.). Comparatively, today is the easiest trek of all days. One has to trek through the forests of Rhododendron and oak One could hear soothing chirp of birds on the way. This trek is also offers best alternative for birds lovers. Ghandruk is a big Gurung village. There is a handicraft centre and Gurung museum. From this village you could observe good views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna (7455m.), Annapurna III (7755m.) and Fishtail. Ghandruk village is listed in World Heritage Site. Overnight at Ghandruk. In the evening, typical Gurung Cultural program will be organized on demand. At tea house lodge.
Day 07: We trek for 5 hours from Ghandruk to reach Nayapul and drive for 2 hours to reach Pokhara
Trek from Ghandruk (1950m.) to Nayapul (1990m.). Now the rest of the trail descends gently down to Dhampus passing through Pothana village (1900m.). Then drive back to Pokhara from nayapul Overnight at pokhara hotel.
Day 08: We drive for 7 hours from Pokhara to reach Kathmandu
