I will be in Nepal in December and would like to do the Everest base camp trek
Anyone already did it alone and maybe has some recommendations
Thanks in advance

You can do it however there will be far fewer groups and independent trekkers, this is mostly good…however as a very experienced trekker who historically trekked solo I would advise either hooking up before hand or meeting up on the trail with others…it will be a tad easier, safer in case of injury, difficulties, and more fun sharing the experience with like minded trekkers.
Can’t enter the park alone u need to be paired, either make some friends or get a porter or if u need guidance get a good guide .
Do not just hike via Tengboche twice like all unimaginative guides make their clients do. Go up via Namche – Mong La – Phortse – Pangpoche and only come down via Tengboche. Much better views on the way up, lots of wildlife and practically no other trekkers.
