Kopan monastery in Kathmandu is incredible and they offer lots of courses.
At Pharping you can stay in a monastery managed room for 700 a day (You have to cook yourself with your own groceries, gas is provided with no extra charge, you can stay there for as long as you like). 2 rooms with bathroom/European style toilet. Good for retreat/meditation.

Recommended Kopan Monastery Intro to Buddhism 10 day course.
