Is there any nice place to stay on extra day in Kathmandu?
I am driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu tomorrow and have 1 extra day left. Is there any nice place to stay or visit in between these cities or should I just spend my extra day in Kathmandu?

You can go to bandipur about halfway the cities. Lovely little town in the mountains. You sometimes can even spot the Himalaya’s from there. Otherwise I would just spend the ectra day in pokhara or Kathmandu. Maybe take a boatride in pokhara on phewa lake or go paragliding. Or consider going to patan or Bhaktapur next to Kathmandu.
Spend a day and night in Bhaktapur if you haven’t been there. You can take a taxi to the airport from there, equally as close as KTM. I would suggest
Khwapa Chhen Guest House and Restaurant overlooking Durbar Square.
Bandipur ! Go for lunch or overnight. The old inn is ace but expensive. Newari bazaar village with views of the mountains
You can go Osho tapoban for meditation
You can go chandragari cable car
