Is December a good time for trek in Annapurna region? I mean is it crowded like spring? or empty?

December is great. Not as crowded as spring but certainly not empty – especially in Early-Mid Dec. By the end of Dec/start of Jan it starts to be a bit quieter
Not that busy bit difficult if it is snowing so depending on weather
Quiet and cold. Lots of teahouses are shut, but one per village will stay open. Not much choice.
I have trekked the full AC twice in winter months as well as once during monsoon and again once or twice in ‘normal’ months. Once in early Dec to end Dec, once in mid Dec to mid Jan period….both times good weather, clear sky, of course once on a while some weather may move in for a short period…but in general it is a good time to go especially as far as far fewer people and groups….usually just motivated individual trekkers and couples with a guide, that type of thing….many hotels will be closed but there was always a hotel/hotels to stay in on both sides….no problem there….have fun. It will be colder of course and if windy and cold the pass crossing will be COLD! A few photos and start down.
