Yes PCR is mandatory (if you are not vaccinated) and they check for it
I just arrived yesterday, the visa is on arrival, quite fast and easy to do (payment in cash only! Although they accept different currencies, I paid in GBP and there also and ATM there I think)
3DOSE VACCINE CARD MANDATORY 2 ENTER NEPAL(In light of sustained decline in COVID19 trajectory & significant advances being made in vaccination coverage both globally as well as in India, extant guidelines of Ministry of Health Family Welfare, Government of India on submission of SELF-DECLARATION FORM on online AIRSUVIDHA portal stand discontinued protocols in Annexure to Order are to be complied by international travelers as well as points of entry(AIRPORTS, SEAPORTS & LAND BORDER) & SHALL BE VALID w.e.f. 22nd NOVEMBER 2022 (00.01hrs IST) TILL FURTHER ORDERS)
All of this probably depends a lot of your passport (visa requirements), the fact that you are vaccinated or not (PCR and/or quarantine requirements) and from/through which place you are coming from (PCR requirements). Check your government’s travel advisory web page, they should have all the information you need.
Hello! The guidelines don’t change since March, so you need to be fully vaccinated, 2 doses, not need the booster, OR a PCR 72h before your first flight. You can get the visa on arrival.
