Looking to do Everest Base Camp
I’m heading to Nepal in December to do yala peak, whilst we’re there were looking to do Everest base camp! Just curious as to how other people have done this? With groups/tours, solo or your own sherpa? Also how long it’s took any of you? I know the timeline for most tours is 14 days but can you do it quicker or? Thanks in advance!
Also I forgot to add, I was also looking at maybe adding the gokyo lakes into the EBC trek! If it’s as nice as it looks/worth it?

Took around 14 days with 3 nights in Namche and 2 in Dingboche, Everybody made it as we acclimatized properly, Lots helicoptered out who tried to rush or did not drink enough fluids
Gokyo lake it’s worth indeed the effort passing through Cho la Pass.
Also, if you are in good shape, you can do this route, EBC with Gokyo, in less days, no need of aclimatisation.

3. Periche- Gorakshep
4. Gorakshep-EBC-Kalapatar
5 Gorakshep-Dzongla
6. Dzongla – Cho la Pass – Gokyo
7. Gokyo – Dole
8. Dole-Namche
9. Nanche – Lukla
