I am returning to Nepal in December 28 2022 and after a few days in Kathmandu heading to Annapurna Circuit.. am a avid winter trekker and my last one before Covid we did Jiri to EBC and the three passes looking for like minded travellers..

My favourite part of the EBC trek is the area between Jiri and Phakding. Folks who fly in to Lukla can’t imagine the exquisite scenery they miss out on: the wonderful valleys & fabulous passes and the amazing people who live on this part of the trek. The relatively low numbers of other trekkers adds such a magic to it all. Have trekked this area four times, although last time, 2016 at end of monsoon, I started walking at Shivalaya rather than Jiri. Jason, I hope you have absolutely The Best time!!!🙏
Hey everyone thanks for the likes etc.. I am getting a lot of messages from a range of people offering services and stuff about other treks.. just letting everyone know I am planning on doing Annapurna Circuit in winter and I know that it may be closed in parts at that time but that is the exciting part! To everyone who has messaged me about going to EBC I did that trek last time fromJiri to EBC and the three high passes in winter of 2019! It was awesome 👏
